Social media enables libraries to communicate directly with their customers and to strengthen library community relations.
Libraries are at the heart of the physical community in many parts of Australia.  Social media is increasingly playing a major role in building digital and online communities around areas, interests and activities. It allows libraries to reach community members who might not be aware that a library can meet their information needs.

What are pros and cons using any social media?

We all know that, some of the reasons are personal, but one of them is just:''Everyone else is using it!''

Is it making us happy or sad?

Personally, I don't use it much, not that I think is bad or something...I rather take a book to read.
