My reads
During this holidays I decided to take a break by reading this book.
This first novel in a trilogy introduces us to Valentine Roncalli and her large Italian-American clan. Valentine, single and 33 years old, is an apprentice to her master shoemaker grandmother in a family business that was established in Greenwich Village in 1903 by her now deceased grandfather. Their passion and livelihood, the Angelini Shoe Company, is known for creating custom made exquisite wedding shoes.
